kathmandu ।। On the occasion of Republic Day of India, President Vidyadevi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have expressed their best wishes. President Bhandari sent separate congratulatory messages to his Indian counterpart Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Oli to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi today. In the message, President Bhandari wished the President of India personal happiness and good health as well as peace and progress of the people of India. He expressed confidence that the centuries-old multi-dimensional Nepal-India relations would be further strengthened in the days to come. Similarly, Prime Minister Oli in his message to Prime Minister Modi wished the people of India continued peace, progress and prosperity. Recalling the multifaceted and cordial relations based on friendship, equality, cooperation and mutual respect, Prime Minister Oli lauded India's miraculous contribution to science, technology, medicine and economic development. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for providing one million doses of vaccine against COVID-19 to Nepal as a grant.
